Morning Service
The Sunday service is a time when our whole church family gathers to sing songs, pray, and hear a sermon from the pastor. Every week we have communion, and on occasion we have baptisms.
Preaching
Our pastor mainly focuses on expository preaching. We start with a Bible passage and expose the meaning verse by verse. The pastor provides historical context, commentary, and examples to make the passage clear and understandable. Our primary goal is to help you see the meaning of the passage and give you a better understanding of who God is and the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Music
At Severn Run, we seek to glorify God in all that we do and that includes the music we choose to sing. We select from traditional Christian hymns and Psalms. Additionally, we sing The Doxology and Gloria Patri weekly as a congregation before the morning’s message.

Nursery & Childcare
Infant – 2 Years
11:15am – 12:30pm
Our Newborn, Crawler, and Toddler nurseries are available for the worship service hour (11:15am-12:30pm). Children and parents gather together for the music prior to the Sunday morning service. Prior to the preaching of God’s Word, parent’s will be instructed that they are welcome to drop their children off in the nursery and/or children’s Sunday school. Upon leaving the auditorium, the classroom’s are a short walk down the hall to the left. If you have any questions or concerns, we have ushers in the halls to assist you.
3 – 4 Years
11:15am – 12:30pm
There are classes for 3 year-olds – Kindergarten available during the 11am worship service as well. A teacher will lead your child in songs, group activities, and a lesson from God’s Word.
What do I wear?
Please feel free to come in whatever you would like. At Severn Run, our desire is to have individuals worship Christ regardless of the style of clothes they choose to wear.
Where do I park?
We have plenty of parking behind the church. If for any reason you come on a particularly busy sunday, feel free to park in a free space in the field near the pavillion.
Where do I go?
Once you find a parking spot, simply walk towards the two main glass doors in the center of the building. Once inside, walk straight ahead until you reach the doors to the auditorium. You will be warmly greeted by an usher near the entrance who will hand you a bulletin outlining the day’s service. If you have any further questions upon arriving, they will happily answer them for you.
