Church Camping Trip
Our annual church camping trip in Eastern Maryland brings people together for meaningful fellowship in the outdoors, where days include times of preaching and singing alongside shared meals and conversation. In between, there’s plenty to enjoy—casting lines while fishing, hiking wooded trails, and even organized shooting activities. As night falls, everyone gathers again, around a fire, sometimes watching fireworks light up the sky, ending the day with a strong sense of community, joy, and time well spent together.

Pig Roast
SREPC’s Annual Pig Roast is held each year on the Saturday before Columbus Day and has become a favorite church tradition. The day revolves around a big church-wide potluck, with two whole pigs roasting all morning and filling the air with the promise of the afternoon feast. Folks sign up to bring food, help with setup and cleanup, and enjoy tractor hay rides and lots of fellowship. This past year even featured an impromptu sax and guitar band that made the day feel like a full-on festival.

Men’s Quarterly Fellowship
In a world filled with distraction and noise, men need opportunities to slow down, seek God, and encourage one another. Our quarterly Men’s Fellowship brings men together for a shared meal, biblical teaching, and genuine fellowship centered on spiritual growth, faithful leadership, and practical Christian living.
As we gather around God’s Word and build meaningful relationships, we seek to strengthen one another in Christ and glorify God in our homes, our church, and our community.
We would love to have you join us for our next quarterly fellowship.

Men’s Saturday Bible Study
Led by Ruling Elder Joe Mackes, the Men’s Saturday Morning Bible Study is a time for men to gather around God’s Word, grow in their understanding of Scripture, and encourage one another through fellowship and discussion. After a summer break, the group will resume in the fall as we continue our study through the book of Romans, examining Paul’s teaching on the gospel and its implications for the Christian life. All men are welcome to join as we seek to grow together in faith and knowledge of God’s Word.

Women’s Thursday Bible Study
The women’s Bible study at SREPC offers a quiet and intentional space for gathering around the Word of God, where participants engage in careful, verse-by-verse study of Scripture. Together, the group reads, reflects, and discusses passages in their proper context, seeking to understand the character of God and the truths of the gospel with clarity and depth. Conversations are thoughtful and encouraging, allowing women to ask questions, share insights, and apply biblical teaching to everyday life. Rooted in prayer and a desire for spiritual growth, this study fosters a deep love for God’s Word and a strengthening of faith through consistent and faithful exposition.

Women’s Friday Bible Study
In addition to the traditional study format, SREPC also offers a women’s Bible study built around a more structured, coursework-style approach designed to deepen theological understanding. This setting incorporates guided lessons, reading assignments, and teaching sessions that explore key doctrines, biblical themes, and historical context. Participants benefit from a classroom-like environment where concepts are clearly presented and reinforced through discussion and reflection. Whether working through a book of the Bible, a theological topic, or a curated curriculum, this study equips women with tools for deeper study, helping them grow in knowledge, discernment, and confidence in handling Scripture.

SREPC Prayer Meetings
Prayer is one of the greatest privileges God gives His people. Through prayer, we come before the Lord, give thanks for His faithfulness, bring our needs before Him, and ask Him to work in our lives, our church, and our community. We believe God lovingly hears the prayers of His people and faithfully works through them for His good purposes. We invite you to join us as we gather together in dependence upon Him.
