Don’t be fooled. Make a distinction between your consciousness of sin. You will until death or the return of Jesus be conscious, rightly, of the indwelling power of sin. Sinful desires, longings, imaginations and regular losses in the battle against sin are a regular part of your experience. However, if you have faith in Christ as your high priest, then you must have no more consciousness of the condemning power of sin. By the blood of Christ you are purged of sin and are no longer guilty, no longer condemned.
