The Jews were saying,“We are unsure if we should follow this Jesus. What about the temple and temple system?” The Apostle gives the final nail in the coffin of their resistance and confusion. Jesus is the entire system! The tabernacle and temple are a model of his heavenly reality. Jesus’ present state and heavenly activity seal the door of the argument shut. Through his exaltation and heavenly activity Jesus is proven to be preeminent.
