The Sacrificial Death of Christ Is Necessary. Do you eagerly wait for Jesus to appear a second time? Think of some things for which you eagerly wait: retirement, tax return, marriage, a cruise or vacation. All of these items speak to your hopes and dreams. So if you don’t eagerly wait for Jesus, then doesn’t that say something about a needed change in your hope. We live in a world that is difficult. To what or who do you turn in difficulty?
