The diaconate is a group of men elected by the congregation for their  spiritual character, honest repute, exemplary lives, brotherly spirit, warm sympathies, and sound judgement. In summary, they exist to offer sympathy and service  as a tangible expression of Jesus Christ’s merciful posture toward His people and the community.
